With over two decades of leadership in the television and media industries, Bernard founded Urban Media Solutions based on his conviction that strategic media outreach is essential for business growth and societal impact.
Bernard's mission is to empower aspiring entrepreneurs and established professionals alike. His journey began in Greensboro, NC, where his early experiences in business ventures—from local community projects to tech startups—sparked a lifelong passion for innovation and mentorship.
He holds a BS in Economics and an MBA in Marketing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he is also a dedicated alumnus and educator.
Today, Bernard resides and works in Chapel Hill, NC, where he continues to write, mentor, and lead, focusing on turning entrepreneurial visions into reality. Through his leadership at the Shuford Program, he shapes the next generation of entrepreneurs by instilling a combination of rigorous academic training and real-world experience.
